On the night of 11 Dec 2008, an ice storm hit the Berkshire Highlands, accumulating as much as an inch of ice in higher elevations. Trees and limbs broke, bringing down powerlines and blocking roads. Utility poles snapped bringing down more lines. The photos below show parts the town of Plainfield AFTER a day and a half of road cleanup.
